Subject: Lakeland State Drill Meet
1. The Lakeland State Drill Meet will be held on April 23rd-24th 2010 at George Jenkins High School located at 6000 Lakeland Highlands Road in Lakeland Fl. The directions are enclosed.
2. The Boca Ciega High JROTC will compete in the following events:
a. Platoon Armed (Male & Female)
b. Platoon Exhibition (Male & Female)
c. Squad Exhibition (Male & Female)
d. Individual Exhibition (Male & Female)
e. Duo Exhibition (Male & Female)
3. Students attending need to arrive at school by 5:15 AM, and be prepared to depart at 5:30 AM on March 11th. Students should be dressed completely in their Class B uniform with garrison cap. Uniforms will be worn all day. Bring a small amount of money for breakfast and lunch. Do not bring any high dollar items that can be lost or taken.
4. The competition will be finished no later than 5:00 PM or as early as 1:00 PM. If we are finished early and have determined that we did not win anything then we will be returning early in the afternoon.
5. The permission slip is to be completed and turned in no later than March 9.
6. Any parents wishing to attend, ride on the bus, or follow the bus over as spectators are more than welcome to do so. It is an opportunity for you as parents to see your son or daughter compete.
